Make up- Margery Kempe

We discussed this all semester long.. Is or isn't Margery Kempe crazy?

My answer is clear. She is. I'm a religious person, but Margery Kempe is an extremist if there ever was one. Religion is an emotional thing, but she cried uncontrollably all the time. And for her to tell her husband that they can't be intimate because of God is ridiculous. God created intimacy to be celebrated and enjoyed inside the confines of marriage. How else would the human race continue for pious individuals? I can totally understand her not wanting anymore children. I would have said no after 5. But she's not really very devout if she's lying to her husband now is she...
